Axxia dna* element - time recording

The time recording element within dna* should perhaps be more accurately described as a time tracking function. Next generation systems are now focused on preventing valuable time ‘leeching' away - dna* ensures that all available time is captured correctly, whether in real time or in subsequent postings, with the emphasis on ease of use, increased reliability and optimum time recovery.

Time is posted directly to the ledger, but can still be changed by the user with a full audit trail. The clock is activated against a file/matter by starting a time record from the browse list; a second clock can be started for another file/matter and the user can just click between the two. The system also allows for work interrupts and for the creation of aliases if a file is yet to be set up.

At any time a user can view his or her time summary and post a manual entry to fill in the highlighted gaps. This is designed to ensure that all time during the day is properly accounted for and a workflow can always be written to prompt regular review and completion of the time summary during the day.
