Axxia Systems, a leading supplier of practice management systems, and creator of dna*, the first practice and case management system to be developed on a business process management platform, today announced that the adoption of the dna* technology roadmap has been so positive they have claimed their 4000th user.
Launched at the start of 2007, dna* is unlike traditional practice management systems with a dynamic workflow modelling tool at its core and already boasting an impressive array of customers. Within private practice users of Axxia technology include Bevan Brittan, Mundays, Olswang Weightmans and Kingsley Napley and within local government legal departments Tameside, Scarborough and Merton borough councils are all currently at various stages of the implementation process.
With the Workflow Designer at its heart, dna* is a truly business centric solution that enables firms to design, deploy and adapt workflows in a single unified web based application. The benefits of the system include a lower cost of ownership, improved client service, improved business process efficiencies and increased control and risk management capabilities.
“We wanted to ensure that we had fully reviewed all options available to us rather than automatically upgrading to Axxia dna*. Throughout the tender process Axxia met both technical and business requirements,” commented Clive Knott, Olswang's IT director. “There were a number of reasons that made Axxia dna* our preferred choice: they clearly demonstrated the solution and the likely business, time and financial savings, the increased business efficiencies, the web based browser platform and the underlying business process management,” Knott continued.
“Customers are committing to the dna* roadmap and starting out on the implementation path so reaching the 4000 user mark is a tremendous success for us,” commented Doug McLachlan, Axxia's sales & marketing director. “We always knew that once customers understood the functionality and flexibility of the system there would be significant uptake.”
